Dejene Ethiopia Tour is an amazing resource if you are planning a trip to this fantastic country. Dejene has arranged multiple trips for me to North Ethiopia and around Addis, in addition to spending many days exploring Addis together and all of his favorite haunts. Dejene set me up with great tour guides, excellent hotels, and reliable travel plans. He is always available to help and is a native US english speaker. If you are visiting Ethiopia, do yourself a favor and let Dejene help you plan your trip.
I’ve known Dejene for more than half my life, and I had long dreamed of coming to visit him in Ethiopia. When the timing was finally right, Dejene planned a flawless vacation for me and another friend. He personalized our itinerary for months ahead of our arrival. He arranged all of our hotels, meals, tours, drives and flights, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. We traveled throughout Addis, Lalibela, Gondar and Bahir Dar over the course of a week, always in the most comfortable hotels and with the kindest drivers and guides. I’m so glad that Dejene has found a way to use his relationships with experts in the tourism industry to bring people across this beautiful country. It’s a trip I am hoping my friends back in DC will take someday -- and that I can take again very soon.
I did (2) separate tours of Ethiopia with Dejene. The first trip I did with (3) of my siblings to the northern regions and the second trip I did alone to the south. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed Ethiopia and the work that Dejene did to make the trips run very smoothly. I spend a lot of time telling others that Ethiopia ranks amongst the best destinations to visit. So much history, culture, beauty, nature, and hospitality. It's amazing that one day you could be in Addis chillin in a cool club taking in some jazz in a great urban atmosphere then jump in a car headed to the Omo Valley and see the culture go from year 2019 to 500 B.C. So many cultures and ethnicities to experience. Great people to meet. I cant say enough. Cant wait for my next trip.

Dejene took care of us from start to finish on our trip to Ethiopia! We couldn’t have asked for a better Tour Guide! Everything was planned and taken care of, and we didn’t need to worry about a thing! I recommend Dejene Tours to anyone traveling to Ethiopia!
